Weynand Training's Lead Instructors

Diana Weynand leads a team of great instructors, all of whom exel in knowledge of Video, Apple and Adobe pro-applicaitons, patience and wonderful classroom demeanors.  We are very proud to be working extensively with the following four lead trainers.

Brendan Boykin (Apple Certified)

After some time spent on the broadcast and corporate paths, Brendan decided to blaze his own trail. An Apple Certified Instructor, Brendan has been training for Weynand now for four years in addition to being Diana's technical editor on her Apple Pro Training Series book, Final Cut Pro 7, and the iKeysToGo: Final Cut Pro 7 iPhone and iPod Touch application. Weynad has literally sent Brendan coast to coast (including Alaska!) to train on Final Cut Studio.

Jenn Garrison (Apple Certified)

An Apple Certified Trainer, Jenn Garrison was selected as one of Film Independent’s “Project:Involve” fellows. Through that fellowship, Jenn’s work has been featured in “Vanity Fair” and showcased in the “W Hotels” internationally. Jenn’s work was also sponsored by “Banana Republic” and “NBC/Universal” studios. In addition her films have played in over 100 film festivals winning top awards including: a college EMMY, a Student Academy Award nomination, the “Jury Prize" at the Bologna International Women's Film Festival,the “Audience Award” at the Night Gallery Film Festival. For the past two years Jenn has been headlining Weynand's Final Cut Pro 7 training courses specializing in education and local Hollywood based entertainment clients.

Diane Wright (Apple Certified)

Diane Wright is a 20 year veteran of video production and post production having worked in many capacities such as online assistant editor, Main and ISO operator, videotape playback, and post production supervisor.  Diane has been an instructor for Weynand Training International for the past decade.  She has contributed to several of their publications, including 'How Video Works' published by Focal Press and the "Secrets of Video Blogging," published by Peachpit Press. Last year, she assisted in the development of Weynand's Hi-Definiton courses for the west coast offices of Disney during their cable transition to Hi-Definition. In addition, she is an Apple Certified Trainer, and also helped develop Weynand's news-editing course to train news personnel at CNN, KTLA, Associated Press and KGO TV.

Beverly Houwing (Adobe Certified)

With Beverly, Weynand customizes training on the Adobe Creative Suite and digital photography, so our clients get up to speed quickly on Adobe Photoshop, Bridge, Camera RAW, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. Beverly worked with Adobe Systems as a Business Development Manager in graphics and ePaper products for over six years and has Adobe Expert Certification in several applications. She also teaches InDesign at UCLA Extension as part of their Design Communication Arts Certificate Program, plus she is a very talented freelance graphic artist who works in design, photo retouching and creating interfactive PDF forms.
